Orthopaedics for the FRCS Revision Course
The FRCS (Orth) course is a three day course focusing on practice clinical and viva examinations and provides an opportunity for candidates to make final adjustments in preparation for the UK Orthopaedic Exit examination.
The programme includes keynote lectures on difficult or controversial topics but is essentially a Clinical / Viva primer. Each candidate will see a range of clinical cases and practice viva examination for 6 hours. Candidates without a strong background knowledge in Orthopaedic surgery will be at a considerable disadvantage and are discouraged from applying. Content This is an intensive course for trainees coming to the FRCS (Orth) examination and includes viva practice and clinical examination in small groups as well as master classes on key clinical topics.
